Meet us Tonight in Brooklyn, at The Knit

Eat Drink Local might have officially ended yesterday, but we had to host just one more shindig, and it’s tonight, it’s free and it’s in Brooklyn, at the Knitting Factory’s front bar from 7 to 9 p.m. (That’s 361 Metropolitan Avenue in the nabe of Williamsburg, right near Havemeyer, just off the BQE and not too far from the Lorimer Street L stop.) It’s a meet-up for our Eat Drink Local Harvest Challenge, which asked you to pickle, make ice cream, visit a farm, forage, hunt, eat a species you’ve never tasted before, read Wendell Berry, or hell, just hit a Greenmarket or drink some local likker. Tonight’s party is our post-EDLweek culmination celebration, when we’ve invited you to bring some sort of documentation of any of these experiences; the best get to take home some of our killer prizes, mostly bottles of that aforementioned local booze. Hope to see you there, and if you need directions, check the below.
