Eat at Back 40, Gram Tav or Hung Ry and 10% Helps Put Local Produce into Schools

Eat at Back Forty next week and you'll help local schoolkids grow and eat their own.

GrowNYC, our charitable partner for Eat Drink Local Week, has created a new partnership to create school gardens in every New York City public school.  To date, the Grow to Learn: Citywide School Gardens Initiative has collaborated with the NYC Parks Department to provide schools with the materials and technical support needed for planting.  And with the Garden to School Café program, the initiative hopes to bring the produce grown in the gardens into the school cafeterias. During Eat Drink Local Week, which runs from Friday June 24 until June 30, the following restaurants will generously donate 10% of their profits from Eat Drink Local Week to supporting this amazing program. We hope to see you there!
