NYC Represents in Forbes 30 Under 30

Unsurprisingly, we’re very proud that the list shines a big and deserving (yea, we’re biased) spotlight on our city.

For a handful of young guns in the food and drink world, today is a big day. Forbes just released its list of the top 30 Under 30: Food & Drink, or a roundup of some of the country’s youngest and brightest industry talents as chosen by Danny Meyer, Lee Schrager and Alice Waters.

Unsurprisingly, we’re very proud that the list shines a big and deserving (yea, we’re biased) spotlight on New York with profiles including: Brooklyn Brew Shop, Kitchensurfing, Good Eggs, The Gefilteria, Craft Restaurants, Luke’s Lobster, The Cecil, Dang Foods, Dos Toros, Tache Artisan Chocolate, The Dead Rabbit, Punch, The NoMad Hotel, Maialino, Silkstone Group, and Xi’an Famous Foods.

We’ve written about many of these spots in the past and are fortunate to have Ali Rosen of Potluck Video as one of our frequent contributors on both Edible Manhattan and Edible Brooklyn. You can watch her video on the cider-making process above, which comes right in time for our annual drinks issue that hits stands this week.
