Haven’s Kitchen Is Gathering Women Cooks for an ACLU Fund-raiser

Celebrate liberty and some exceptional chefs, bakers and makers at Haven’s Kitchen this Sunday, February 26. “Hungry for Liberty: A Gathering of Lady Cooks, Bakers and Makers to Benefit the ACLU” will run throughout the afternoon, from noon to 4 p.m., and the $5 admission fee will go to the organization that fights to protect civil liberties.

The hosts of the event will be Kristy Mucci and Stacy Adimando Graf of Saveur and Marie C., a filmmaker and photographer. On the vendor side, you’ll be able to pick up goods from cookbook author and food stylist Susan Spungen; author of the Chickpea Short Stack cookbook and Sweet Sicily Victoria Granof; Gather Journal‘s Maggie Ruggiero; photographer, food stylist and owner of The Jewels of New York Diana Yen; author of Sweeter Off the Vine Yossy Arefi; photographer Julia Gartland; food director of Real Simple Dawn Perry; The FeedFeed editor Judy Kim; and more.
