If you’re like us, then you appreciate the opportunity to contribute to a good cause. You’re also probably not opposed to a nice glass of wine, especially on a Thursday afternoon.

Kaia Wine Bar will host a special evening dedicated to both good drinks and deserving projects this Thursday, August 29. In an effort to support Phelophepa, a train system that brings vital medical services to the rural areas of South Africa, interested patrons can donate $100 can buy 10 chances to win a trip to the country. What’s more, the donation also buys an all-you-can-eat/drink menu.

When asked why the wine bar chose to partner with this particular organization, owner and native South African Suzaan Hauptfleisch said that Phelophepa’s mission aligned with her own background since her mom works in the medical field. Additionally, she appreciates the organization’s transparency about their funding work. She is especially pleased that the winner of the trip will have the opportunity to witness the result of their donation firsthand by spending an entire day on the train while it makes its rounds through the countryside.

The lucky winner of the trip can also expect an all-inclusive vacation that will feature stays at South Africa’s premiere safari lodges, as well as Cape Town’s best hotels.
