Looking for a reason to explore Western New York this season? Here are several: The region’s many excellent cideries! Use our Edible Map to Western New York Cideries below to find your way—and this pairing tip from Scott Ramsey, Executive Director of the New York Cider Association, to make the most of it once you get there:

“At this time of year, it’s common to think of a traditional pairing of cider with a hearty and delicious fall menu which, of course, I’m all for. But I say, let’s put our nuanced skill of navigating worldly change to good use and try something a bit outside of the traditional box. Why not, for example, try pairing your favorite cider with a spicy Mexican or Indian meal. Cider is, hands down, the best beverage for pairing to take your taste sensations to the next level and pairing a really nice, dry cider (which are bountiful in Western NY!) with a spicy Mexican or Indian curry dish is a phenomenal dining experience and will warm you up like no other!”
