On, October 16 and 17, explore these innovations and more at the intersection of technology and hospitality at the 2018 TechTable Summit.

Founded in 2015 by four entrepreneurs Jaci Badzin, Maureen Cushing, Lauren Hobbs and Camilla Marcus, TechTable showcases how technology creates efficiencies and connections within the hospitality industry. Every year TechTable raises questions not only about the role of technology within the hospitality industry but within society at large, while challenging hospitality leaders to continue to innovate. The annual summit is a key way for marketing and technology professionals at restaurants, hotels and hospitality companies to connect with investors and startup founders.

This year’s summit kicks off on October 16, with the intimate pre-summit networking dinner, TechTable Taste. TechTable alumni, including DBC Creative’s Dana Cowin, Cava’s Brett Shulman, Him for Her’s Jocelyn Managan, Omnivore’s Mike Wior, IDEO’s Meija Jacobs and Conde Nast’s Eric Gillian, will each host a table at the dinner and lead discussions around industry topics.

On October 17, the summit begins in full at Apella in Midtown on the East River. This year look for panels and presentations by industry innovators, entrepreneurs and leaders, including Resy founder Ben Leventhal, Lettuce Entertain You’s Jennifer Bell and Dig Inn founder Adam Eskin. Some of the topics covered will include: how technology is disrupting the wine industry, delivery and data and building loyalty.

Throughout the day, attendees will also have the opportunity to network with decision makers across industries, taste curated food and drinks and get a first glimpse at startups in the hospitality, food and tech space.
