In case you didn’t see the tweets from @foodfilmfest or @ediblemanhattan, the NYC Food and Film Fest we’ve been yammering on about recently — hey! we’re psyched about the whole drive-in movie cum food truck party thing — just released its full schedule of movies and events for 2010.

You can get the entire thing right here from this awesome calendar, but we just want to point out some of the highlights. Like a southeast Asian food market on the 24th at Astor Center to go with four Asian-themed movies (including one called Squid Chips),  a grits cooking competition to go with a flick called It’s Grits, naturally, and a screening of Beer Wars that gets it’s own burger and beer garden. Meanwhile the whole shebang kicks off at South Street Seaport at something called The Great NYC Shuck ‘N Suck paired with oyster-centric films like The Mud and the Blood and What’s Virgin Mean?

This is the type of academically inclined cultural programming we like to see in this town. Dude, we’re being totally serious!
