Eat Drink Local Week Begins Today: Here’s Where to Buy Goat, Porgy and Hops

We’re thrilled to announce our fourth annual Eat Drink Local Week begins today. You can search our entire Eat Drink Local guide here, which includes listings for restaurants, markets, wineries, bars and other retailers participating in the Week with meals or discounts–or go directly to lists for Manhattan’s restaurant guideBrooklyn’s restaurant guide or East End’s restaurant guide.

All participants will be serving prix-fixe featuring our eight seasonal and locally sourced ingredients of the week, shown above. We pick them both for their deliciousness as well as their oft-overlooked status. A few are hard to find–goat milk and meat, porgy and hops–so if you were hoping to cook them at home and wanted to find some, here’s help:
