At long last the Momofuku empires moves north to Midtown!  David Chang’s latest venture, located in the Chambers Hotel, features Vietnamese/French fusion and more space than any other of his sites.  The menu, as always, is quirky. There’s a raw bar, but no desserts.  (Vegetarians beware: the menu is heavy on animal parts and seafood.)  After lunch pop in the new Milk Bar next door and fill up on compost cookies–pretzels, potato chips, coffee bean flecks, oats, butterscotch, and chocolate chips–and cereal milk soft serve.
