Park Avenue

For more than 20 years, seasonally themed Park Avenue has been a kitschy, oh-so New York destination. Every season, everything about the restaurant run, by father and son team Alan and Michael Stillman, changes including the name (Autumn, Winter, Spring, Summer), the decor, the staff uniforms and of course the food. The cozy-fall inspired decor and comfort food menu of items including pumpkin ravioli, shellfish cassoulet and Nova Scotia halibut disappears just after Thanksgiving when the restaurant transforms into Winter. New to all seasons this year, is their dinner party menus allowing New Yorkers to host parties for 2 to 20. —Bridget Shirvell
