Two Can’t Miss Events: Baja Tacos and Butter Churning

Uncorked is Edible’s annual local wine tasting, held on two whole floors of BAM in Brooklyn

From Eat Drink Local Week to Good Beer, Edible is known for throwing some of the most delicious food and drink-focused events in the city. Here’s two coming up soon you won’t want to miss:

Edible Escape on Wednesday, October 19th at the Angel Orensanz Center. Can’t fit a trip around the world into your weekly schedule? No problem: The vendors at Edible Escape will have your taste buds channeling the world, starting with Mexico, thanks to the Baja Tacos with Beer Battered Mahi Mahi, Mexican Style Coleslaw and Chopped Peanuts courtesy of the restaurant Mercadito.  For the rest of the line-up, check out our events page.

How to Milk It on Wednesday, October 26th at the Brooklyn Brewery.  Not many folks get to watch a butter churning demonstration blocks from the Bedford Avenue L train, but you can when you come to How to Milk It, the latest installment in our How-To series at Williamsburg’s Brooklyn Brewery.  Anne Saxelby of Saxelby Cheese and Chef Fromager Tia Keenan will also be on hand for cheesy discussions.
