Talk & Taste: Keep It Zesty with Edy Massih

June 27 @ 6:00 PM EDT

Thursday, June 27
starts at 6:00 pm

Essex Market, 88 Essex St, NY, NY, 10002

You can purchase admission, or admission with copy of Edy’s book, which he will sign for you.

Meet Edy Massih, the beloved chef and owner of Edy’s Grocer in Greenpoint, Brooklyn as he stops by the Essex Market kitchen for a Talk & Taste evening to chat about his debut cookbook, Keep It Zesty.

In Keep It Zesty, Edy shares his personal story as well as more than 115 easy-to-follow recipes for some of his favorite dishes—traditional Lebanese fare with a modern twist. Infused with the zest and positivity he brings to everyday life, Keep It Zesty offers everything adventurous home cooks need to whip up delicious weeknight meals and entertain friends. Edy shows you how to build your own Brown Paper Board (the supersize charcuterie board of your dreams), alongside other mouthwatering recipes. Plus, you’ll find easy tips and tricks from a one-man catering (and grocer-owning) powerhouse.

Meet Edy as he speaks with Chef Annette Tomei about his exciting new book, which he will be signing at the end of the evening, and shows off some delicious recipes from Keep It Zesty. Our evening will culminate in a Brown Paper Board including a veritable rainbow of zesty favorites including Edy’s Hummus with Dukkah, Nutty Muhammara, Orangey Date Carrot Dip, and more!

If you purchase Admission with a copy of Keep it Zesty, you will receive your book at the Essex Market the evening of June 27.

You will not receive a physical ticket for this event. Your name will be on a list when you check in at the Essex Market Kitchen Mezzanine that evening.

Essex Market is proud to offer these programs in partnership with Edible Manhattan magazine and Kitchen Arts & Letters Bookstore, now celebrating 40 years of service.
