This series celebrates Brooklyn’s innovative culinary collaborations and Cara Cannella will interview a group of entrepreneurs about their serendipitous and successful partnerships. Part 1 of the series will feature Christopher Nicolson, an Alaskan fisherman living in Brooklyn, of Iliamna Fish Co., and Sean Dimin, a Brooklyn fishmonger from Sea2Table. The two work together to bring beautiful wild fish directly from where they are caught to chefs around the country. For Part II, Agatha Kulaga and Erin Patinkin of Overly, Oliver and Evan Haslegrave of hOmE, and Paul Giannone of Paulie Gee’s will tell their overlaping stories. Oliver and Evan designed and built Paulie Gee’s, a wood-fired pizzeria (recently named among Food & Wine’s best places for pizza nationwide) where Agatha and Erin bake and provide desserts including cheesecake made with Paulie’s homemade limoncello. Act fast, as tickets are limited and available here. Ticket price includes tastings from Paulie Gee’s and Ovenly and a donation to Slow Food Japan.
