Southampton Publick House celebrates Autumn with its Annual Beer Dinner, 7pm, Oct. 20.
Executive Chef Carl Holfelder has prepared a menu celebrating Autumn and the best in craft beer with a Tasting Hour and 4-course dinner paired with complimenting Southampton Ales and Lager. During the Tasting hour, guests will sample cheeses and hors d’oeuvres paired with Saison Deluxe and Double White Ale.
Dinner will begin with a first course of golden beets, shaved prosciutto, goat cheese and rocket salad paired with Southampton IPA, followed by the second course of Chanterelle Mushroom and chive soup with a Roasted Garlic and Cheese Crostini joined with Imperial Porter. The evening’s main course will be Surf and Turf of Pave’ Salmon with Cauliflower Puree and Tasmanian Duck Breast with Grilled Leeks served with the 2010 Oktoberfest Lager. Baked ½ Roasted Local Apple Streusel topped with Vanilla Ice Cream and Caramel with Southampton Pumpkin Ale concludes this evening.
