Regional, artisanal spirits producers are at the forefront of an exciting, and slightly intoxicating, revolution – re-invigorating small scale, regional spirits production. They are helping build regional economies by supporting New York farms and creating New York jobs, and they are doing it all deliciously. The First Annual SPIRITS OF NEW YORK Cocktail Event features spirits made in the New York using primarily principle ingredients grown and produced in New York. Selected regional producers’ beverages – vodka, gin, shine, white brandy, rye, Bourbon, and jack – will be served up in tantalizing, season and place inspired cocktails. To complement their products, they will be joined by local producers of bitters, syrups, and mixers.
