Swing by the private West Village events venue, 632Below, for a few cold pints of Captain Lawrence beer to celebrate Good Beer month and raise money for the struggling Gulf Coast fishing community. Brent Sims of The Green Table, along with Emilio Fujimoto and Gabi Ladson of The Cleaver Company will be serving up New Orleans style hors d‟oeuvres using sustainable Sea to Table ingredients.
Enjoy refreshing Mint Juleps sponsored by Maker‟s Mark and listen to Dixieland jazz performed by The Ear Regulars while supporting The Greater New Orleans Foundation‟s Gulf Coast Oil Spill Fund which provides assistance to fishermen & their families affected by the spill.
Captain to Captain is the inaugural event of the “Food for Thought” series, presented by Mary Cleaver (The Cleaver Company and Green Table) and Karen Lashinsky (632 on Hudson and 632Below). “Food for Thought” is a series of fundraising events at 632Below that raise money and awareness for groups working to improve the health of our food supply.
The Cleaver Company and Green Table source directly from local family farms exercising humane and environmentally friendly practices. 632Below is a new events venue with an attached basement speakeasy, available for corporate and private functions.
