Self-taught baker and food photographer Joy Wilson is the colorful personality behind the popular food blog Joy the Baker. Joy launched her blog in 2008 and has since gained international attention and received praise from top publications such as O!, Extra Crispy, Food52 and Buzzfeed. Joy the Baker was also selected as one of the 50 Best Food Blogs by The Times (London) and named Best Baking and Desserts Blog by Saveur.
Joy is celebrating the release of her third cookbook, Over Easy, with a book signing at Rizzoli Bookstore on Monday, March 20, beginning at 6:00 p.m. In an eye-catching display of brimming plates and bright tablescapes, Over Easy explores Joy’s favorite savory and sweet brunch recipes—from morning cocktails to full meals—in a celebration of one of the most decadent and leisurely of meals.
Joy will be at Rizzoli Bookstore for a free book signing and Q&A, led by Joy’s good friend and fellow food blogger Deb Perelman of Smitten Kitchen. Guests will also have the chance to taste wine and snack recipes from the cookbook.
