Winemaking in America has undergone a recent sea change. Until recently California, Oregon and Washington dominated production with relatively straight forward flavor profiles. But that has all changed with interesting wines coming from a slew of small winemakers all over the country. In addition to cooking a seasonal meal, students will be guided through a wine tasting focused on American varietals, growers and producers. Our wine expert will join the meal to answer questions about wine and food pairing, decanting, temperature and buying.
