From our organizers:
We are a cashless restaurant and accept all major credit cards.
On July 12, join us for a special four-course dinner celebrating our newest graduates from Ethiopia, Jamaica, and Vietnam. Tickets are $100.
Together with guest Chef Ethan Frisch of Burlap and Barrel, our second cohort of students will create a four-course menu inspired by their home countries. This graduation dinner is a culmination of the students’ Emma’s Torch experience. Seating is limited, so get your tickets today!
Emma’s Torch is a non-profit social enterprise that trains and empowers
refugees in the culinary arts. By investing in their potential, we prepare our students for successful employment in an industry where their culinary heritage can be celebrated.
The Emma’s Torch culinary program includes two months of culinary training and on-the- job skills development. Students receive individual attention, as each cohort is comprised of four students and an instructor. We collaborate with some of New York’s most renowned chefs, industry leaders, and restaurant groups to facilitate employment opportunities for students after Graduation.
