According to the organizers:
“Join us for a weekend celebrating the relationships among plants, farms, and your favorite foods. Family Garden staff will offer cooking demonstrations, recipes, and hands-on activities, with plenty of music and tastings. Tinker with the science of kitchen chemistry and get to the root of foods at a variety of activity stations. Daily cooking demonstrations at 1 p.m. feature kid-friendly recipes. Learn from a chef as they share tips and samples!
Ongoing; 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
Throughout the weekend, activity stations will offer hands-on opportunities to learn about food. Edible Academy staff and a variety of partner organizations will share delicious and engaging lessons on all things culinary.

These classes will provide participants the opportunity to follow a recipe, learn a culinary skill, use kitchen tools, and create a healthy dish to take home.

Daily; 1 p.m.
Throughout the weekend, NYC chefs and food personalities take the stage to offer a demonstration of their favorite recipes. Tasting samples of the highlighted recipe will be offered at the conclusion of each demonstration.
