Gardener and cook Aaron Bertelsen creatively manages the vegetable garden and kitchen at Great Dixter—a U.K. treasure and a destination for horticultural pilgrims from around the world. While most of us know Great Dixter as the home and expression of legendary gardener/writer Christopher Lloyd, the kitchen garden is also an integral, dynamic part of the plan. Bertelsen will discuss his craft in this final lecture of our 2017 Winter Lecture Series. After the lecture, he will sign copies of The Great Dixter Cookbook—a collection of his garden-to-table recipes—hot-off-the press and available for purchase in the Ross Gallery.
