Where to Eat for the Next Two Weeks

Your Easy Guide to finding Eat Drink Local Week Restaurants in Every Nabe

We’ve been talking a lot about the spirit of Eat Drink Local week — our Institute, the farmers and food-makers that embody our foodshed, our Challenge — but we are also very proud of the many restaurants who are participating from Montauk to Manhattan (and a few in the Hudson Valley) with 11 delicious days of special locavore meals and dishes.

So we put together this easy-to-browse list of “EDL” partner restaurants below, who will be celebrating the mission of the week by featuring our 11 local ingredients, pushing New York wine, beer and spirits, and offering creative locavore prix fixe to tickle your tastebuds. And if you already patronize the restaurants in your nabe, take our week as a opportunity to explore another nabe or even another boro. Remember there are 11 days in EDL, so there’s plenty of time to explore.

Click on the restaurant name below to learn more about what they’re dishing up and to book your table. (And then once you’ve gone, take a photo of what you ate and post it to our Flickr stream for the chance to win our Eat Drink Local week Challenge.
