Shinn Estate Vineyards at American Museum of Natural History

We love Long Island wine, especially when it’s grown in conditions that respect the grapes and the land.  Next month agronomist, vintner, and co-owner of Shinn Estate Vineyards, Barbara Shinn will be at the Museum of Natural History talking all things wine.  She’ll discuss how to foster organic and biodynamic-based wine growing and why we should all aspire to such things.  Tickets to the November 15th event are $35 (get them here) and include wine samples from Shinn Estate.

Barbara and her husband David are great at what they do. Their wines are excellent and their knowledge, energy and commitment to truly sustainable farming is outstanding. Being able to hear Babara speak AND taste her wines, makes this worth every penny… and then some!
