Summer is just around the corner and with it awaits a great thirst, the kind that can only be quenched by nice cold beer. Luckily the folks at the Hand Crafted Tasting Company saw this coming and have prepared just the festival to satiate thirsty New Yorkers.
The Brooklyn Waterfront Craft & Specialty Beer Festival on June 16 will feature rare and seasonal brews, and spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline. VIP ticket holders get access to the beer and food an hour before anybody else, plus a chance to chat up the brewers before the masses descend. Want to win a VIP pass for you and a friend? We’ve got two to give away! Just answer this question in the comment box below and we’ll pick a lucky winner:
Where’s the best city spot with a view to drink a cold one?

On top of eataly! Or any roof. Is there anything more new York summer than drinking on rooftops with your friends?
By the pier! Or on any roof top. Great views + great beers = great summer.
Maybe not the most glamorous or hippest location but I love sitting atop the Old American Can Factory for Rooftop Films. There’s always a great band, good flicks and a guaranteed tasty brew. There are better views out there in the city, but the unobstructed view of the sky during a sunset on a perfect summer night makes the world seem limitless.
Brooklyn Bridge Park. It looks like downtown manhattan comes right out of the water!
