Join Le Pain Quotidien and Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture to kick off summer and National Pollinators Week with a feast of epic (and local) proportions. Stone Barns Center’s beekeeper Dan Carr will be demonstrating how honey is harvested and you will taste the fruits of the hive’s labor – their own seasonal honey. To accompany this delightful treat, there will be a tasting with local cheeses (provided by Murray’s Cheese), beers (provided by Top Hops) and breads straight from Le Pain Quotidien’s ovens made with local grains.
Students will learn the intricacies and importance of bee keeping while exploring the unique and varied flavors of our local terrain through honey, bread, cheese and beer. Tickets available for purchase here.
