Join us at the Fifth Annual Taste of Greenmarket on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, for an elegant evening featuring market-inspired dishes and cocktails prepared by over twenty of the city’s finest chefs and mixologists. Raise a glass as we honor Women in Agriculture, the pioneers in our community who are paving the way for the next generation of regional farmers. In addition to the seasonal showcase of local food and drink, Taste of Greenmarket boasts a silent auction with fabulous dining, spirits and lifestyle auction lots. All proceeds benefit Greenmarket’s Youth Education Project. $275 of a VIP ticket, and $175 of a General Admission ticket to Taste of Greenmarket is tax-deductible.

All proceeds from this event directly support the Greenmarket Youth Education Project:
$350 VIP Ticket:
Provides materials for one class to participate in Greenmarket’s ten-lesson Seed to Plate curriculum, which educates students about healthy eating, sustainable farming, and our food system.

$250 Ticket:
Sends 100 children on a School Tour of their local Greenmarket to meet farmers, taste a seasonal cooking demo, and explore regional agriculture.

$50 Contribution:
Brings a farmer to a school to inspire and teach children through “Meet Your Farmer” classroom visits.

$25 Contribution:
Buys a seasonal cooking demonstration for 75 students visiting their local Greenmarket on a School Tour.
