Edible’s Meaty Trivia Night! At the Brooklyn Brewery next Wednesday, April 20th

This is your brain on food.

Clever about cleavers? Brainy about butchering? Informed about offal? Or wish you were? Have we got a party for you. Next Wednesday, April 20, Edible will keep court at the Brooklyn Brewery for another thrilling installation of our “Edible Pursuit” trivia night, and this time, it’s all about meat!

Just $15 gets you an award-winning Brooklyn Brewery beer, a delectable country pate sandwich from the Meat Hook and – best of all—three rollicking rounds of quick-fire trivia, emceed by yours truly (special points for proving me wrong). Questions—some of which were thought up by the geniuses over at Animal Welfare Approved—will cover flesh foods from field to fork. Teams will compete in three rounds of questions for killer prizes like paté from Brooklyn Cured, sausages from Marlow & Daughters, and a 10-lb maple-cured boneless ham from Heritage Foods USA (yum). Questions will cover flesh foods from field to fork. Non-geeks welcome: special prizes for silly answers too. So study our Good Meat issue (or not), round up your smart-aleck friends, and we’ll see you next Wednesday—in the flesh! Doors open at 7:30, trivia starts at 8. You can get tickets right here.
